01 / SOLAR QUESTIONS

Bills, payments, and solar agreements

Will I still have a utility bill?

Usually, yes. Your home can still buy electricity from the grid and owe utility charges. Compare those costs together with your solar payment.

What is a PPA escalator?

It is an annual increase in the agreed solar energy price. If your proposal has one, ask to see the rate and projected payments in later years.

Does a free review mean free solar?

No. The review is free; a solar system or energy agreement has costs and terms that your proposal must explain.

02 / SOLAR QUESTIONS

Batteries, outages, and existing solar

Do solar panels work during a blackout?

Typical grid-connected solar shuts down during an outage. Backup requires compatible equipment and a system designed for that purpose.

Can one battery back up everything?

Not automatically. Coverage and runtime depend on battery capacity, power output, the selected circuits, and how much electricity you use.

Can I add a battery to existing solar?

It may be possible. We need to check compatibility, existing contracts, installation requirements, and utility rules first.

03 / SOLAR QUESTIONS

Your roof, your future, and the right fit

What happens if I sell my home?

The process depends on whether you own, finance, lease, or have a PPA. Ask about transfer and payoff terms in your actual agreement.

When might solar not be a good fit?

A roof needing repairs, heavy shade, low usage, or costs that do not match your goals may change the recommendation. A review helps identify those issues.

Can we talk in Spanish?

Yes. Mention your language preference when you request a review.
